The cantilevered type of sliding gate is different to a conventional type where a track across the entrance is required. With no track, a single cantilever gate can span widths of up to 10 metres and also be installed on uneven ground, over block paving or finish surfaces, even water without any real disruption to the roadway.The gate glides on two sets of support/guide rollers, fixed to a concrete foundation calculated to be above the overall weight of the gate in the closed position to prevent the gate dropping and hidden within the main lower beam extrusion, ensuring a reliable, smooth & virtually silent operation
